At the support group meeting, parents asked about whether the district was including one-on-one aides in distance learning if they are specified in the IEP. I emailed the district to ask; Dr. Lefevre said: “Yes, SPUSD Case Managers are facilitating SPED student access to distance learning, including the use of 1:1 Special Circumstances Instructional Support Assistants (SCISAs) for those students with that service in their current IEPs.”
